Meet the Team
Dr. Charles Zahedi:
Dr. Zahedi is presently a part-time faculty member at the Department of Periodontics at the University of California, Los Angeles and was also a full-time Associate Professor at the Department of Advanced Periodontics and Implant surgery at Loma Linda University in California from 2002 to 2004.
Dr. Zahedi obtained a Ph.D. in oral medicine with a thesis on the periodontal and bone regeneration in animals and humans.
Most of the international publications by Dr. Zahedi deal with treating older adults having advanced bone loss and needing tissue regeneration and dental implants.
He has written some of the most read scientific articles on how to make implant dentistry more affordable and predictable.
Dr. Zahedi has lectured on implants and trained dentists in many countries including United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, and China.
In 2011, Dr. Zahedi became the Founder and Clinical Director for Dentists for Veterans/Oral Disability Rescue, bringing compassionate dental care to orally disabled veterans and older adults that have no covered dental benefits and whose low income is below the “poverty threshold” set by the U.S. government. The aim is fighting the oral handicaps of edentulism in patients that have lost all of their upper and/or lower teeth by using the newest technologies in Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Zahedi is also honoured to be the first dentist invited to speak at a California Assisted Living Association (CALA) Conference. He discusses how oral health care impacts the quality of life of the elderly.

Dr. Zahedi was honored to write a book chapter in the 2016 book ‘Dental Clinics of North America’ on the ‘Treatment of Orally handicapped older adults by means of dental implants?’.
Dr. Patricia Murray:
Dr. Murray graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry in 1979. She previously served as an associate professor and director of clinical research at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has earned a certificate in Periodontology and a Ph.D. in Oral Biology and Microbiology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and holds dental licenses in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, and New Jersey. Dr. Murray has a strong background in clinical research and has been the recipient of numerous grants from both government and private institutions. In addition to her teaching positions at UMDNJ, she has also served in the Department of Stomatology, Division of Periodontology at the University of California, San Francisco, where she was the co-investigator (under Dr. John Greenspan) on a $3.9 million grant from the United States Public Health Servic to study “Oral Manifestations of the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome.” Her research and clinical reputation in the field of HIV-associated periodontal infections is nationally known. At the University of the Pacific, Dr. Murray coordinated the responsibilities of 17 faculty members in expanding the periodontics curriculum. She has a lifelong enthusiasm for learning, which she hopes to impart to students both clinically and didactically.Dr. Murray is listed in Who’s Who in American Women, and she has received development awards from the National Institute of Health and the National Institute of Dental Research in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992. She has also served as a consultant for Proctor and Gamble and has done applied research for P&G, Oral-B Laboratories, and the Pro-Dentec Corporation.
Dr. Leyla Lily Sahabi:
Dr. Leyla Sahabi (Dr. Lily as her patients call her) attended University of California Los Angeles for her undergraduate before going to Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine to receive her DMD degree. She is licensed in the states of Massachusetts and California. Dr. Lily enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes in lifelong learning. Dr. Lily is passionate about Children Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry and is dedicated to providing the most up to date dental care.
She likes to positively affect patient’s lives by improving their smiles and general oral health. She enjoys camping, rock climbing as well as traveling when she is not practicing dentistry.
Dr. Albina Batchaeva
After many years of rigorous education and, more importantly, diverse clinical practice, Dr. Albina truly understand the value of quality patient care – and how to provide it. Her practice philosophy as a healthcare professional is to treat her patients with sincere compassion and care, and provide each patient with the best quality treatment. Dr. Albina’s passion and area of expertise lies in cosmetic, implant, and preventative dentistry. She loves being able to give her patients the smile of their dreams.
Dr. Albina keeps up to date with the latest technology that modern cosmetic dentistry has to offer including porcelain veneers/lumineers, Cerec CAD/CAM inlays, onlays and crowns, implant and laser dentistry.
Her approach to the practice of dentistry is to preserve the natural dentition by using the minimally-invasive dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Albina enjoys scuba diving, skiing, Bikram yoga and traveling. Also music is a huge part of her life, since she has been playing piano since the age of 10. Dr. Albina loves cooking and enjoying quality time with her family and friends.
Dr. Enoch (Pyung) Cho
Dr. Cho practices evidence based dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest technology that modern dentistry has to offer including porcelain veneers/lumineers, crowns, root canal therapy and Invisalign. His philosophy of dentistry is achieving aesthetic results with minimally invasive approach.
